4th Jan IPO player review

With the latest list of IPO's set to be release later today we review the players:-

David Costas - Price £0.80 - The 23 year old central defender broke into the first team recently starting the last 5 games before the winter break. His average OPTA rating is only 6.66 however and he also scored very low on performance buzz.

Claud Adjapong - Price £0.70 - A promising 20 year old Sassuolo right back/wing-back who has already notched up 11 Italy u21 caps. He has however only started 2 games all season and is currently injury, The Italian league doesn't start back up until the 21st Jan so a lot of downside. The regular Sassuolo right back Pol Lirola is only 21, played 17 league games with good ratings and is only £0.72 on the index so would seem like a smarter option

Konstantinos Galanopoulos - Price £0.60 - The 21 year old defensive midfielder has played regularly this season with 10 league appearances along with all 6 Champions League games, he also made his International debut. He achieves a fairly low rating in the Champions league(just over 6) but in a team that lost every game that can be expected. A useful prospect and was scouted by Spurs back in October but no real sign of transfer rumours since.

Ross McCrorie - £0.80 - The 20 year old defender/defensive midfielder has played fairly regular this season with 19 appearances in all competitions and recently attracted the interest of Swansea. Wouldn't be a bad purchase @ £0.80 but anything over £1 seems high for someone who plays in a non PB/in-play league linked with a move to a non PB/in-play league. Rangers also out of Europe now.

Viktor Tsygankov - Price £0.90 - The 21 year old winger has been ever present for Dynamo Kiev in the league this season with 9 goals and 3 assists from 18 games, he also has 2 goals and 3 assists in the Europa league. He is heavily linked with a move to Roma this January and has 11 Ukraine international caps already so looks a solid investment.

Lloyd Kelly - price £1.20 - The 20 year old Bristol City left back has been recently linked with a move to Man United & Liverpool. He has 22 appearances this season for Bristol City and has 2 England u21 caps. Solid investment

Chris Mepham - price £1 - The 21 year old central defender has played 22 league games for Brentford this season and notched up 4 Wales caps already. There is no real transfer gossip at the minute but Bournemouth attempted to sign him last summer so they may try again.

Marcelo Guedes - price £0.90 - The centre half has been a regular for Lyon with 16 league appearances at a rating of 7.28 & 6 Champions League games at 6.86. At 31 years old though we doubt he has much price growth in him after the inital IPO spike.

Nikola Moro - Price £1 - The 20 year old midfielder had been out with cruciate ligament damage but return to start in 5 of Dynamo Zagreb's last 7 games, he played 24 league games last season. He recently got named in UEFA's 'top 50 players to look out for' list and wouldn't be surprised to see some January interest. Zagreb are still in the Europa league so if he stays there will be some PB potential.

Mykola Shaparenko - price £1 - The 20 Year old midfielder has played fairly regular this season with 6 goals and 2 assists from 17 games. He also has 4 Ukraine caps and was named in UEFA's 'top 50 players to look out for' list

In summary our strategy is to invest in Viktor Tsygankov who seems a standout investment. Mykola Shaparenko, Nikola Moro & Lloyd Kelly are all worth investing in with smaller investments for Chris Mepham & Konstantinos Galanopoulos.

Happy trading!
